GIVING

First and importantly, if you come to All Saints', Harston you don't have to do anything or give anything. It's ok if you just join us for worship.

There is, of course, plenty to do and many of our congregation give some of their time, money and talents to support our work and maintain our building and we are endlessly grateful to them. Please do say if there are tasks you would be happy to take on (there are many!) Let the vicar know and she will point you in the right direction.

Our running costs are £26,000 a year, including what we have to pay towards the Church of England's central costs, and this is covered entirely by donations. Our vicar is a volunteer who receives no stipend, which helps keep our costs lower than they would otherwise be.

Regular giving

We count ourselves fortunate that many of our congregation are able to contribute towards the running costs. If you feel able to help in this way you could give to the collection in church, or set up regular giving using the Parish Giving Scheme, or directly from your bank by Standing Order. Setting up regular giving helps us to plan our spending with some confidence.

Click the link to use the Parish Giving Scheme as a simple and secure way to make donations by Direct Debit; or give them a telephone call on 0333 002 1271 quoting our PGS code of 140614122.

Alternatively we can let you have our bank details if you would like to set up a standing order for weekly, monthly or annual giving; please contact the Treasurer or Vicar.

One off donations
If you want to make a one-off donation to help with our restoration projects please go our JustGiving page which explains what we are aiming to do.

Gift Aid

Please complete a Gift Aid form if you are a tax payer so that we can claim a 25% top-up on every donation.

Legacies

Another way of supporting our work is to leave a gift to All Saints' in your will. This could be a specific amount or a share of your estate. You can designate the money for particular use if you like (eg maintaining the building), though if you are willing to consider it, an unrestricted gift will enable us to meet the particular needs of the church when it is received.

Contact us

Please do feel free to contact our Treasurer, Andrew Pitts, if you would like to discuss regular or one-off donations to support our church. You can contact him on treasurer.harston@gmail.com
