All proceeds from the Coffee Morning / Plant Sale are for Darwin Nurseries in memory of Peter Wilson, whom most people remember as Sarah Martin's brother, and who worked at Darwin Nurseries, Newmarket Road, Cambridge for many years.  Darwin Nurseries is a charity which provides work for disabled people.

The sum raised: in excess of £460


Saturday 19 November 2016 The Autumn Fair was most enjoyable and successful.


Sunday 17 July 3 - 5 pm Cream Tea and Strawberries in the garden of 20 High Street raised £286.


Thursday 7 April 2016 David Short gave a most informative and entertaining talk, My Life behind Bars, in Hauxton Village Hall. £318 was raised.


Saturday 21 November 2015 St Edmund's Autumn Fair in Hauxton Village Hall raised £452.00


Sunday 19 July 2015  Strawberry Tea in the garden of 48 The Lane, Hauxton. 
Entry: £5. This was a most enjoyable occasion of fellowship and summer refreshment, with many attending.


Saturday 9th May 2015 Coffee Morning All the proceeds of this coffee morning went to the Nepal Earthquake Appeal . The amount raised, including donations, was £450


Wednesday 29 April  2015 “Summer bedding, and containers for summer colour” 
 was the title of a fascinating talk given by Peter Jackson (from Scotsdales) in aid of St Edmund’s Church. 


The simple soup suppers (preceding the saying of Compline during Lent) raised £152.50 for Wintercomfort.


A coffee morning was held on Saturday 10 January 2015 and the proceeds have been donated to the Arthur Rank Hospice to go towards their new building at Shelford Bottom which will provide much needed extra accommodation.  Thanks to the support and generosity of those who attended the coffee morning and further donations, a cheque has been sent to the Hospice for £140.00
